About the Airport
Burlington Airpark was founded by Victor and Gwen Kovachik in 1962. Burlington Airpark grew out of Vic and his families love for aviation. His determination and dedication has allowed Burlington Airpark to flourish over the years. Born June 21, 1924, Vic's endless determination helped achieve his dream of an flying facility in Burlington. All the while Vic remained a devoted husband and loving father to eight children.
Burlington Airpark is perfectly situated as a central transportation link for Burlington, Milton, Oakville, Mississauga and surrounding area. Nestled midway between Toronto and Hamilton. Why put up with excessive air traffic, long waits and the landing fees of the larger surrounding airports.
